Program Overview
What You Will Do
Program Operations Leadership and Management
- Consolidating best practices, feedback from stakeholders, in partnership with the community to identify options and opportunities to identify and design programs that address emerging community needs.
- Liaising with partners, government, OHTs to ensure the effective coordination of programs and support improved system integrations to achieve enhanced client outcomes.
- 'Growing' programs, forming new partnerships or expanding current programs.
- Ensuring the procurement of government grants and contracts.
- Effectively carries out the management functions for all current programs demonstrating consistent quality of financial administration, program monitoring and evaluation, communications, time and resources to achieve program goals.
- Working with staff to develop processes that ensure consistent and high-quality project management.
- Ensures the day-to-day operations of the programs are consistent with any legislation or agreement governing the unit.
- Ensures the effective utilizations of staff, volunteers, and students throughout the programs while also ensuring a platform of support, training and appropriate professional development.
- Builds on best practices and feedback from stakeholders to identify options and opportunities to address emerging community needs.
Knowledge Management
- Develops the necessary systems, processes and tools to better support the facilitation, collection and sharing of data and knowledge that is generated by Programs.
- Ensures that key project outcomes, policy, advocacy and legislation are evaluated and leveraged for maximum community and organizational impact.
External Relationships
- Represents WoodGreen at several tables on matters relating to systems planning and implementation, coordination and funding related to Seniors Wellness Programs. Leads local Meals on Wheels Collaborative.
What You Bring to the Team

Master's degree in a related specialized field.

Ideally 10 years of progressive management experience.
