Reporting to the Manager, Digital Risk \& Compliance, the Cyber Risk Analyst is a key player in protecting our digital landscape. The Analyst will conduct dynamic cyber risk assessments across diverse projects, pinpointing vulnerabilities and bolstering security measures. They will dive into security evaluations of advanced systems, applications, and IT infrastructure, identifying flaws that impact confidentiality, integrity, and availability. This role will collaborate with innovative teams to seamlessly integrate risk management into project planning, stay ahead of emerging cyber threats, and adapt assessments to address new risks. Additionally, they will drive the development of robust risk management strategies and provide expert recommendations to strengthen our security posture.
Responsibilities
- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Perform cyber risk assessments across internal and external projects to identify security risks and vulnerabilities
- Conduct security assessments of internal systems, applications and IT infrastructure as part of the overall risk management practice
- Conduct application reviews to determine security flaws or other issues that would impact confidentiality, integrity or availability of the system
- Evaluate and assess the efficiency of security controls in place, ensuring they align with industry-standard frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT)
- Prepare and deliver risk assessment reports, detailing findings and recommending risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to integrate risk management practices into project planning and execution
- Manage the awareness of emerging cyber threats and adapt assessments to address new risks
- Support in the development and implementation of risk management strategies to improve organizational security
- Provide actionable recommendations to reduce risk exposure and improve the overall security posture
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and a minimum 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field
- Familiarity with risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, COBIT)
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles and risk mitigation strategies
