About This Position

Qualifications

Master's degree minimum (exception labs and non-credit courses) in Communication or adjacent fields.
Capacity to work collaboratively across multiple sections of a course.
Previous undergraduate teaching or teaching-equivalent experience.

Course-specific Experience Required:

Familiarity with the ongoing changes to the Canadian media landscape.
Familiarity with Canada's TV and film production funding model.
Ability to adapt content to reflect the ongoing legislative changes and market trends.

Ability to teach advanced equipment and production -- Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition, video camera operations, lighting, audio recording and editing, DaVinci Resolve, and Adobe AfterEffects.
