What You'll Be Doing: Reporting to the Manager, Business \& Health Systems (RET), this position will be responsible for supporting our primary system, Yardi, providing excellent customer service to our staff (end users) at our retirement living locations, and collaborating with external vendors to resolve complex inquiries including acting as a project resource when required.
- Support primary system application: YARDI
- Responsible for day-to-day incident and services requests from operations
- Providing Tier 2 support to users, understanding their needs and escalating with the vendor when necessary
- Manage changes within the application by properly entering them in the change management system and managing the change through its lifecycle
- Act as a technical resource for project work
- Engage regularly with internal business to ensure understanding of their needs and requirements
- Responsible for audit compliance for assigned applications, reporting to Internal Audit and External Audit as needed
- Manage external vendors to ensure they comply with our vendor management \& security policy
- Maintain and keep appropriate documentation up to date
- Manage the production, development, test and project environments
- Work with operation leadership in our Retirement divisions to identify and evaluate innovative ideas to help grow the application and meet business demands
- Work with internal and external business partners to develop, test and implement application enhancements
Education \& Experience Required:
- 3 years' related experience in a directly related position.
- Strong vendor management skills. Ability to take control of an incident and work with necessary parties to resolve it in a timely fashion
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical design
- Independent worker with aptitude to manage multiple parallel activities
- Excellent organizational skills, customer service skills and proven analytical and decision-making capabilities
- Support business level resources in the creating and maintenance of project cases, including creation of costing models and supporting documents
- Knowledge of Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) tools.
- Ability to innovate and learn new technologies quickly
- Must have the ability to work under tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- Must be able to travel to Retirement Residences when required.
