Full-Stack Developer - Full-Time

We're looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer to join our small but growing team and play a central role in the development operations of an innovative, web-based media hub application-already in early adoption by major league sports teams and national news broadcasters.
Our tech stack is no-nonsense by design: built to minimize dependencies and maximize performance, dependability, and long-term maintainability.
We're looking for a great communicator with solid experience in cloud-based development, who thrives in a collaborative, low-ego team environment. You'll work closely with our product designer and senior developers to implement core interface upgrades, optimize performance, and roll out new features as the product scales and feedback comes in.
This is a hybrid role, with most work done remotely and occasional in-person collaboration at our office in downtown Ottawa. We're a well-established, family-run company that values work-life balance, autonomy, and a flat dev-team structure where everyone's voice matters.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain full-stack features in a .NET Core + TypeScript environment
- Design and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and schemas
- Collaborate on product planning and implement scalable architecture
- Own the entire feature lifecycle - from interface to database
- Apply lightweight polish and usability improvements to the front end using Figma designs
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Proficiency in C# and .NET Core, including Web APIs
- Strong experience with SQL Server: schema design, query optimization, performance
- Solid command of TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Comfortable building UI components and styles without relying on frameworks
- A strong interest in clean code, lean architecture, and long-term stability
Nice to Have
- Experience on minimal-dependency or legacy-light projects
- Comfortable implementing UI from Figma design mockups
- Familiar with Git, CI/CD, and version control workflows
- Bonus points for experience in broadcast, asset management, media platforms, or sports tech
