With a well-established reputation for service excellence, technical expertise, and a broad portfolio of premium analytical and laboratory equipment, this company provides both products and expert support to some of the most prominent research, testing, and industrial labs across the country. About the Role: The Technical Sales Representative will manage and grow an established customer base across the assigned territory (Quebec and East + Ottawa) while actively developing new business opportunities.
You'll be responsible for the full sales cycle --- from lead generation and qualification through to closing --- with a focus on high-value, technically sophisticated instruments used in laboratory and industrial settings. Key Responsibilities: Promote a portfolio of analytical and laboratory instrumentation across multiple sectors including environmental, pharmaceutical, academic, and industrial research. Develop strong relationships with lab personnel, technical stakeholders, and procurement teams to understand customer needs and propose appropriate solutions.
Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets. Coordinate with application specialists and technical teams to deliver product demonstrations, sample analyses, and post-sales support. Attend tradeshows, conferences, and customer visits as required to build brand presence and customer engagement.
Utilize CRM tools to manage territory activity, forecast sales, and track opportunity progress. Required Background: Bachelor's degree in a scientific field such as chemistry, biology, environmental science, or engineering. 1--3+ years of technical sales experience, ideally within scientific or analytical instrumentation.
Strong interpersonal and consultative selling skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a B2B technical environment. Bilingual (French over English).
Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned region.
