What You'll Be Doing
As an integral member of the Frontline and Distribution Analytics team at CIBC, reporting to the Director, Platform Insights the Senior Consultant, Business Analytics will lead the design and delivery of insightful and actionable analytics and visualization solutions, related to data generated from the frontend tools, and provide operational and tactical support in managing the data analytics environment for Business Performance and Insight's analytics. The Sr. Consultant is accountable for supporting the needs of Platform Owners, Lines of Business, Client Strategy and Channel partners.

How You'll Succeed

Analytics \& Reporting --Lead the delivery of fact-based dashboards and reporting tools to influence decisions and/or identify gaps. The expectation is to go well beyond the numbers and provide insightful product/business/customer/client/segment analysis. Contribute to the development and management of a reporting/analytical intake process.

Presentation -- Research layers of the data, uncover hidden insights and share them with the business using comprehensive dashboard \& analysis with the use of effective data visualization techniques. Provide insights to enable informed decisions, provide forecasting and planning and execute analytics initiatives as well as providing recommendations and best practices for new integrations.

Stakeholder Management-- Collaborate and communicate PSB (please add the full name) Frontline analytics strategic priorities and act as a liaison with internal and external partners to gather critical information on the various management techniques/client issues/concerns, strategic priorities, business challenges and specific project requirements to support the development of a winning value proposition. Develop ad hoc analyses to address key business issues as they arise. Complete complex client and product analyses utilizing a variety of structured and unstructured data sources. Develop and share insights with a wide variety of audiences.
Who You Are

You have a degree. A University degree in Business, Commerce, Mathematics, or Computer Science. It's an asset if you have an MBA/CFA

You can demonstrate 5 to 7years of work experience in data modeling working with large datasets including both structured and unstructured data, and exceptional SQL, SAS, Excel and Databricks skills.

You can demonstrate 3 to 5 years of work experience presenting data and identify key trends and patterns using visualization tools Tableau and/or Power BI.

You evaluate data objectively and draw logical conclusions. You can turn complex analysis into clear and actionable insights for stakeholders.
