Position: Environmental, Health and Safety and Quality Supervisor T ype: Full Time Permanent Location: Montréal

We're looking for an Environmental, Health and Safety and Quality Supervisor who will ensure the integrity of the systems we have in place, strive to achieve zero incidents, and manage our continuous improvement programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the Business Continuity Plan and emergency response coordination.
- Oversee incident investigations, including root cause analysis, and oversee corrective and preventive actions.
- Establish corporate reporting on quality KPIs, metrics and results.
- Responsible for training internal auditors.
- Discuss incidents and preventive measures with clients.
- Responsible for quality audits to ensure successful completion of ISO and 5S certification audits and any other client audits.
- Hold regular meetings with Canadian platform factory QA managers to encourage best practices and continuous improvement.
- Act as the alternate Privacy Officer for the Canadian platform.
- Manage the Quality Incident Response (QIR) process and initiate notifications and reports to senior management as required.
- Train relevant employees on our quality protocols and contractual obligations.
- Maintain the Health and Safety Program (Safety System also includes safety and environmental aspects) - through procedures, reviews, revisions, monitoring of the safety system of procedures, plant positions, qualified employees, training, etc.
- Process ergonomic studies and manage accident compensation claims as well as the internal audit process.
- Compare best practices and create efficiencies and consistency in Health and Safety.
- Conduct company reports and review trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Make recommendations to reduce potential risks and prevent injuries.
Requirements
- Knowledge of environmental, health and safety legislation in Canada.
- Experience in managing quality programs; ISO and 5S preferred.
- Experience working in a best practice and KPI environment.
- Expertise in workers' compensation claims management and cost reduction.
- Ability to secure management buy-in for quality, environment, health and safety initiatives.
- Post-secondary school degree in health and safety; designation in health and safety, confidentiality and/or quality is preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing plant is preferred.
- Understanding of privacy legislation, programs and customer requirements
- Able to explain our security and technology (how data flows) to a lay person.
- Understand the technology used to provide variable data in print or digital format.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Must be bilingual in English and French.
