Skills and Qualifications Required:
- Minimum of Grade 10 education
- Ability to work well with others
- Previous health care housekeeping/laundry service experience is an asset
Position Responsibilities:

Follows established Housekeeping/Laundry routines and schedules as specified

Uses assorted Housekeeping/Laundry equipment in performing various duties

Contributes to timely, consistent and quality cleaning of the premises, provides general thorough cleaning services, and follows department cleaning procedures as assigned

Performs such daily duties as damp-dusting, spot cleaning of walls/windows, dust and damp mopping of floors, vacuuming, collecting/disposing of waste and separating recyclable materials and washroom cleaning, and completes other work routine tasks

Operates washer and dryer and makes any necessary setting adjustments according to supplier's recommendations to make the cleaning process more efficient.

Sorts, folds, hangs, and stacks each resident's personal laundry prior to returning it to the resident home area.
