Assistant Manager
In this role, you will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations at Circle Wellness, and supporting the Hosts and Cleaners with daily tasks. Your focus will be ensuring the team is providing elevated guest experiences; professional and timely guest communication; seamless booking and check-in processes; and a very high level of cleanliness in the Circuits and reception areas.
Specific Responsibilities
- Daily opening and closing procedures for the spa
- Monitor all systems while spa sessions are in progress, and make adjustments as needed
- Ensure day-to-day operations are executed flawlessly by a motivated team
- Manage the guest scheduling platform and monitor cancellations, waitlist requests,and rescheduling to ensure everything runs smoothly
- Coordinate guest communication with our customer service agents to providesolutions for guest concerns as needed
- Ensure the the booking and check-in process is seamless
- Ensure the Circuits and reception are well cleaned at the highest level of health and safety requirements are maintained
- Drive retail sales and ensure retail displays are on-brand
- Communicate any maintenance issues to the General Manager
- Support General Manager with various additional tasks
The Assistant Manager will report to the General Manager and will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Circle Wellness Granville Island.
Qualifications
- Understanding of wellness industry trends, products, services, and best practices
- Minimum of 1-2 years of supervisory/shift lead experience
- Strong interest in providing exceptional customer service
- Extremely accountable, available at off hours, and dedicated to ensuring the teamand guests are always well taken care of
- Passion for wellness and commitment to providing guests with unparalleled experiences
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure effective and efficient spa operation
- Must live in Vancouver and be available outside of standard hours

- Compensation: $28.50/hr
