Zachry Integrity is looking for highly motivated mechanical engineers with Finite Element Analysis experience to join our Fitness-For-Service team. At Zachry, you will have ample opportunity to use your technical engineering knowledge to help solve the Energy Industry's most challenging problems.
What You'll Do:
- Utilize ANSYS software to evaluate asset integrity and compliance with Fitness-For-Service standards
- Apply engineering principles, industry standards and engineering research to solve complex issues
- Perform and evaluate failure and stress analysis through the use of simulations/modelling
- Write technical reports, present results and progress updates to technical leads
- Work within our team to ensure projects are completed on time to the highest standard and quality
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position should have the following capabilities:
- Extensive experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Knowledgeable in Level 3 assessment per ASME Sec VIII/API 579 using Finite Element Methods (FEM)
- Advanced experience with ANSYS/ABAQUS software
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering with Structural Mechanics experience
- Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Structural Mechanics Engineering is preferred
- 2-10 years of engineering experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work in a team environment with strong interpersonal skills
- Willing to learn, and committed to producing optimum results
- Strong attention to detail
