Customer Service Specialist -- Manufacturing - Pickering, ON

A global manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Customer Service Specialist to join their growing team in Pickering. Core Responsibilities:
As Customer Service Specialist, you'll be responsible for managing customer queries and complaints, including but not limited to:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries.
- Process orders, including receiving, pricing, and confirming within 24 hours.
- Handle order modifications, forms, applications, and requests.
- Address customer complaints and effectively de-escalate situations.
- Escalate complex complaints through appropriate channels when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
- Assist customers with questions about products and order status.
- Provide clear information to help customers understand the company's products and services.
- Collaborate with Canadian and US sales teams on upcoming orders and pricing.
- Analyze customer order patterns to identify efficiencies and opportunities.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma, general education
- 3+ years of experience in a similar position
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic Math Skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel
- Proactive approach to problem-solving with a strong sense of urgency.
- Experience within the manufacturing sector will be ideal
- Willingness and ability to commute to Pickering, 5 days a week.
