The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join our Advertising team. As Senior TPM, you will play a crucial role in establishing how technical programs are run and monitored across our Ads portfolio. You will be working with a small team (4-5) of technical Program Managers based across Americas and EMEA. You will be working in the Product and Technology organization and provide visibility and transparency into our product roadmap, across our portfolio. You will also be able to help our Product Management and Engineering leaders by providing data on team velocity, navigate dependencies and blockers, and brainstorm on risks and mitigation to ensure timely paced delivery.
What You'll Be Doing
- Work in close partnership with Product and Engineering teams to establish, optimize and maintain needed processes and procedures for time-saving and efficiency related to roadmap delivery.
- Ensure successful program delivery by providing stakeholders metrics on progress and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Apply your expertise in SDLC and Agile methodology to guide and support your stakeholder teams throughout the entire program lifecycle.
- Effectively align stakeholders by managing program scope, schedules, and navigating changes.
- Utilize program management tools, such as Airtable, to track, report and manage program progress, risks and roadblocks.
What We're Looking For
- Strong leadership skills, including building relationships, providing fierce feedback, actively listening, and driving for alignment.
- Proven experience in managing programs and projects in Product or Engineering organizations.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale cross-functional teams and delivering programs on schedule.
- Expertise in SDLC and Agile methodology, with a strong understanding of program \& project management best practices.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations, quickly adapt to change, and make informed decisions.
You might also have
- Proficiency in program \& project management tools, such as JIRA, Airtable. Hands-on experience working with automation tech such as Airtable Automation is a plus.
- Familiarity with structured query language (SQL) for data analysis and reporting.
- PMP certification or equivalent program \& project management certifications is an asset.
