Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a Tier 1 Application Support Specialist to provide critical application support for our ATIS 511 (TraveliQ) product and related systems. In this role, you will ensure the infrastructure health of our applications, perform preventative maintenance, monitor AWS Cloudwatch and PRTG alarms, and promptly resolve or escalate client-reported issues. The ideal candidate will have a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a 24/7 support environment.

Role accountabilities:
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Ensure infrastructure health and engage in necessary preventative maintenance.
- Client Support: Monitor the support inbox for new client requests or reported issues, ensuring prompt and effective responses.
- AWS Cloudwatch Monitoring: Monitor AWS Cloudwatch alarms and dashboards to identify potential issues and resolve them before they become critical.
- Issue Triage and Resolution: Triage detected or reported client issues, resolve Level 1 issues, and escalate to subject matter experts when deeper expertise is required.
- Alarm Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and monitor PRTG alarms to provide advanced data monitoring and verification.
- Client Communication: Coordinate communication between the ATIS team and clients for release scheduling and deployment.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure client satisfaction through prompt responses, thorough issue resolution, and professional engagement.
- 24/7 On-Call Rotation: Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide continuous support for ATIS and ATMS departments.
Qualifications \& Experience:
- Experience: Previous experience in IT support roles, specifically involving system monitoring, cloud environments, and troubleshooting application-related issues.
- Education: Any post-secondary education in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Certifications: Certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or similar are considered beneficial but not required.

The salary range for this position is 56,000 RANGE 70,000 CAD. The base salary represents Arcadis' hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
