Position to fill:Territory Sales Manager, GTA
Industry: PPE manufacturer
Territory: Home based but requires daily travel throughout Greater Toronto Area.
Salary:$70-75K base + 5% uncapped incentive+ benefits + car allowance and expenses covered.

This international corporation designs, standardizes, manufactures, and distributes globally a full set of solutions in personal and collective protective equipment (PPE) to protect professionals at work. They have now grown to 3,500 employees working in 46 subsidiaries and 18 production facilities worldwide, serving over 110 countries. They are pursuing their growth aggressively, in North America, both organically and by acquisitions.
Job Description:
The company sells their products to "end users" (i.e. companies that use them to protect their workers) through distributors only. This position is therefore responsible for increasing the number of distributors who carry its products and developing sales overall by visiting "end users", often along with distributor representatives, to promote the products.
The territory to be covered includes the entire Greater Toronto Area for most of the time, and at times Northern Ontario. Sales for this year are expected to reach $1 million; they have been growing consistently and are expected to pursue this fundamental trend in the coming years.
Requirements:
- Several years of experience selling PPE in the designated territory. This experience can have been acquired either working for a manufacturer, or a distributor,
- A "hunter" style of sales professional, experienced in acquiring new clients, but also developing solid relationships with the existing partners.
- Proven experience in generating new business.
- Ability to develop and execute a territory sales plan.
- Ability to present PPE products effectively to clients/end users.
- Strong prospecting and lead generation skills.
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Ability to identify new business opportunities and expand market share.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
