Hiring an experienced Restaurant Event Sales Manager

Develop and implement event plans, drive event sales
Recognizes opportunities to maximize revenue by upselling
Focus on sales-building, and booking events
The role also involves assisting the General Manager with the operation of the restaurant
Proven ability to build sales and meet quotas through strategies of networking and promotion
2+ years of experience in sales (preferably hotel, restaurant, or catering operation)
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and internet searches
Working knowledge of Tock or Opentable is an asset
Excellent professional communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient knowledge of sales forecasting and financial reporting
Strong food, wine, and spirits knowledge
Superior ability to provide customer service
Attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
Generate new business relationships and able to network
Contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports
