Full Time Security Guard - Corporate Security
We are currently seeking a professional Security Guard for a full-time position with our client which specializes in identity and access management. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a security role within a corporate setting. Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset are essential for success in this position.
Position Overview:
Payrate: CA$25.00/hr
Shift timings: Monday to Friday, Day Shift (0900 to 1700)
Location: Downtown Toronto
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform access control provision duties, verify visitors coming on-site.
- Escort medical staff including paramedics, police, and firefighters when required.
- Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed.
- Unlock and lock doors for access by authorized persons.
- Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
- Monitor CCTV footage and cameras for irregularities and perform dispatch duties for the site including emergency response.
- Perform foot patrols inside the facility.
- Tech savvy, working on multiple systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Ontario Security License
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certification
- 3+ years of Security experience within a corporate environment
- Strong understanding of security protocols and procedures, including emergency response
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Team player and outstanding customer service abilities
- Must be available to work various shifts based on business needs.
