Job Description
Mission
We are seeking a Building Electrical Engineer in the Beauce area. The Engineer will contribute to designing electrical plans and models, perform surveys, and assist in project realization across commercial, industrial, institutional, and hospital sectors. You will work within a dynamic team of engineers, technicians, and drafters on challenging projects, with an environment that encourages initiative and trust.
Main Responsibilities
- Participate in electrical building design, including electrical distribution, lighting (AGI32 calculations), fire alarm systems, etc.
- Perform field surveys and layouts
- Produce plans and models using AutoCAD and REVIT
- Ensure compliance with norms and standards for plans and models
- Conduct site visits and assist in project supervision stages
- Perform calculations and equipment searches under supervision
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- Knowledge of building electrical codes and regulations
- Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Fluent in French (oral and written)
- Knowledge of AGI32 lighting software (asset)
- ASP Construction card (asset)
- Valid driver's license
