As a Business Development Manager for Leyton, your primary mission is to seek out new opportunities within the innovation industry for the Business Development Managers, SR\&ED, Sales Tax Consultants, Custom Duty or Property Tax.

MISSIONS:
Lead Generation:
- Research and generate leads by exploring the market and leveraging personal networks.
- Cultivate relationships with consultants, external professionals, and associations to uncover business leads through referrals.
Sales Process Management:
- Take charge of the entire sales process for identified business leads.
- Identify decision-makers, schedule meetings, meet qualified prospects, and employ effective sales techniques to close deals.
- Analyze prospects' business climates, challenges, strategic needs, and pain points to develop compelling value propositions that positively impact their businesses.
Collaboration and Strategy:
- Collaborate with management to formulate sales and marketing strategies, aiming to penetrate new markets.
- Report directly to the Sales Manager while maintaining autonomy and collaborating with fellow Business Development Managers, Consultants, and Inside Sales teams.
Networking and Prospecting:
- Regularly generate leads and attend meetings through networking and general prospecting.
Performance Metrics:
- Meet and exceed monthly KPIs and targets, as well as annual revenue objectives.
Account Management:
- Provide account management for existing clients.
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years experience in selling services to mid \& high-market clients in Canada, North America.
- Prior work experience with a large management consulting firm in an asset.
- Proven track record using a sales methodology to generate business leads, open doors, and manage the sales cycle to contract signature.
- Highly motivated, results driven, independent thinker, perseverant and strong sense of initiative.
- Strong customer focus, interpersonal and team oriented skills.
- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) coupled with heightened listening skills.
- Experience selling finance, innovation and operations is an asset.
- High level of business integrity and ethics.
