We are looking for a Fundraising Organizer to assist our Marketing \& Communications department with special events including planning and preparation, sponsorship acquisition, cross-departmental communications and social media. Responsibilities Coordinate corporate special events, (e.g. golf tournaments) which includes event planning, activities, site visits, event set-up, day-of delivery requirements and teardown Participate in the development of event critical paths and timelines, including cross-departmental communications
Coordinate the preparation of event marketing materials (e.g. ads, programs, banners) for use across multiple channels, engaging delivery partners as required
Coordinate the preparation of any event auctions
Track event activities and assist with securing event sponsorship targets Support event social media content (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube)Qualifications1-3 years' Marketing \& Communications or Event Planning education or experience
Demonstrated teamwork, interpersonal and stakeholder service skills including the ability to work respectfully and inclusively with a diverse employee population and multiple stakeholders
Excellent attention to detail, organization and proven track record of accuracy
An ability to analyze appropriate information for planning, problem solving and decision making Practiced at carrying projects to completion with minimum supervision Excellent written and communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook, or comparable software
Experience with design programs such as Adobe Creative Cloud an asset
Sponsorship or fundraising experience an asset
