Position: Python Developer with AWS experience
Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)
· Building high-performance APIs using Python and AWS services.
· Implementing automation using scripting languages (e.g., Python ) to manage AWS services.
· Building tools for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of system resources in an AWS environment.
· Developing software components in Python that interact with AWS cloud services by leveraging the AWS APIs.
· Drive aggressive implementation of application requirements for functionality and quality.
· Drive infrastructure software standards and guidelines, Performance analysis, benchmarking and detailed design of the system.
· Familiarity with client-server architecture and networking tools (e.g. SNMP, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, telnet, NETCONF etc.)
· Frontend scripting or web development (e.g. Angular/React, HTML5, CSS3 etc.)
· Experience with MySQL and/or Oracle
· Experience with LAMP and Open-source based technologies.
· Service Provider network experience is a major plus
· Experience with NoSQL databases e.g. Redis / Cassandra
· Familiarity with Web Services, REST \& XML-RPC
· Experience with version control systems, such as svn / git
