Oversee all maintenance operations across the plant, grounds, and equipment.

Lead preventive and corrective maintenance activities, prioritizing safety and minimizing downtime.

Plan, schedule, and assign maintenance work across shifts.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Conduct safety talks and ensure compliance with GMP, WSIB, SQF, and company protocols.

Supervise, coach, and develop the maintenance team; support performance management.

Review production and maintenance reports to identify and solve recurring issues.
-
Collaborate with production teams to implement equipment improvements.
-
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and inventory.
-
Assist in equipment installations and support new product launches.
-
Maintain housekeeping standards within maintenance areas.
-
Act as a backup to the Maintenance Manager when needed.

Diploma in Engineering and/or licensed in an electrical trade.
-
7+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing (food industry preferred).

3--5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, with hands-on troubleshooting skills.

Experience with PLC programming and automation systems.

Strong organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Commitment to workplace safety and product quality.

Knowledge of Lean and Continuous Improvement practices is an asset.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Flexibility to manage a multi-shift operation and address issues after hours when needed.
