You will work with a project team to deliver Level 1 (L1) and Business Analysis (BA) support, ensuring excellent user experience through problem resolution in Scotiabank's production systems. The role focuses on Content Management System (CMS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems supporting the Asset Management line of business. It offers the opportunity to work in an agile environment, participating in daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews. As a member of the delivery team, you will assist in designing and supporting development phases to meet client needs and timelines, supporting IT\&S partners, and participating in both front-end and back-end design.
The main function of this role is to analyze and provide daily functional support for Dynamic Web Products (including Dynamic Public and Advisor Web Sites), Investor Portal, and Salesforce. The Application Support Analyst will implement standards and best practices for developing application services.
L1 support engineers should have basic knowledge of products/services and skills to troubleshoot issues such as password resets and software installations/uninstallations/reinstallations.

- Participate in meetings regarding user requirements and design during project development
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert
- Proactively collaborate with business line representatives to improve technology solutions supporting business strategies
- Contribute as a technical or business consultant in design, development, testing, and debugging of solutions
- Support and maintain existing applications
- Develop training materials and train users on software usage
Skills
We'd love to work with you if you have:
- Working knowledge of CRM (Salesforce) and Wealth Management
- Hands-on experience with web-based technologies
- Basic programming knowledge, including SQL
- 3-5 years related experience in the mutual fund industry and Salesforce administration
- Financial services industry experience is preferred
- Salesforce Admin Certification
- Knowledge of Salesforce Financial Service Cloud and modules, including configuration and data management
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and generate insights using Salesforce reports and dashboards
- Understanding of data structures within Salesforce
- Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management principles within Salesforce
- Problem-solving skills for technical and business issues within Salesforce
