Mandate
Reporting to the Managing Director, Investment \& Corporate Banking ("I\&CB") Strategy \& Business Management ("SBM"), this role provides analytical and operational support for the Strategic Planning \& Financial Analysis vertical ("SPFA") within the SBM Teams in Global I\&CB.
The Analyst will support business planning, analysis, performance tracking, reporting, and assist with updates and presentations. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, financial modelling experience, excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Integrity and confidentiality are essential.
The role requires a minimum of 3 days in the office per week.
Key Accountabilities
- Business Planning / Analytics / Modelling (40%)
- Performance Tracking and Reporting (40%)

Business Planning / Analytics / Modelling
- Develop and maintain financial models and reports on performance and drivers.
- Assist in planning, designing, and developing confidential reports on performance, strategic initiatives, and business plans.
- Analyze internal and external data, including market trends and competitor information.
- Stay current on industry trends in investment and corporate banking.
- Manage time effectively, balancing recurring tasks and ad hoc requests.
- Contribute to the financial planning process, including analysis of growth initiatives.
Performance Tracking and Reporting
- Monitor financial and operational metrics, identifying opportunities or concerns.
- Support quarter-end deliverables, including reports, presentations, and executive summaries.
- Prepare business commentary and competitive analysis for Global I\&CB.
- Create presentations for senior leadership and strategic meetings.
- Assist with the monthly pipeline forecast process.
Operational Support / Ad Hoc
- Collaborate across teams to deliver presentations, updates, and special projects.
Knowledge and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in business support or analysis, preferably in financial services.
- Experience in financial analysis and modelling is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Bloomberg, Dealogic, Factset is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and quality.
- Collaborative and professional demeanor, representing leadership.
Salary Range
Base Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 CAD
Total Compensation: $44,500 - $82,500, including potential bonuses and benefits.
