As a Regular full-time Systems Analyst, HR Systems and Reporting, you will play a pivotal role in administering our Human Capital Management (HCM) ERP system. Your expertise will be crucial in designing strategic solutions and providing operational support for our campus community.
The work will involve a comprehensive process of analyzing current systems and workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and designing tailored solutions within PeopleSoft HCM. The Analyst will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including internal clients, IT teams, colleagues, partners and leaders from across campus to gather requirements, understand their needs, and ensure that the solutions align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:
Analyze Business Processes and Collaborate:
- Evaluate client business processes and requirements related to human capital management to identify areas for enhancement.
- Identify, assess, and prioritize opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and clients.
- Utilize system expertise and understanding of the University's business processes to design, test, and implement solutions.
Technical Troubleshooting, Solutions and Testing:
- Partner with technical teams to troubleshoot issues.
- Build solutions through configuration and customization of PeopleSoft HCM modules to align with business needs.
- Conduct various types of testing including unit testing, systems testing, and user testing to ensure functionality and performance.
Documentation Development and Maintenance:
- Develop and maintain documentation for requirements, system configuration, and processes.
- Keep abreast of PeopleSoft HCM updates and industry best practices.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems or a similar field.
- 2-4 years of experience as an HR data analyst or a related field.
- Experience with enterprise HRIS systems. Preference for candidates with experienced in PeopleSoft.
- Strong analytical skills and strategic focus.
- Critical thinking, data analytics, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in unit testing, systems testing, and user testing.
- Excellent people and customer relationship skills.
- Understanding of business process terminology and product knowledge.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work, handle multiple assignments, and meet deadlines.
- Work collaboratively and interact respectfully and persuasively with a variety of internal and external contacts.
- Ability to provide effective advice, information, and assistance to a wide range of customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
