Our partner is experiencing significant growth and is currently seeking a dynamic Construction Estimator You'll play an integral role in the responsibility for preparing and coordinating the preparation of full estimates on projects as required and working in collaboration with Project Management.
You have experience estimating institutional healthcare, higher education, and government renovation, redevelopment, and building addition projects is highly desired. What's in it for you? Competitive Compensation: (110K-- 130K)Professional DevelopmentComprehensive BenefitsWhat You'll Do:Support the Project Managers during the tendering process in all cost related factors including bid price review, time, and material rates etc.
Maintain and communicate data on construction and material cost trends that may impact project costs
Recognizes risks related to project specific requirement, site, schedule and market conditions/constraints. Uses contract terms to identify risks and opportunities.What We're Looking For:3+ years Estimating Experience in the residential/ICI building sectors of the construction industry
Post-Secondary education in construction (Diploma/Certificate) in Engineering, Architectural, Building Science and/or Construction ManagementA solid understanding of all construction trades and construction techniques
Results-oriented individual with the ability to interpret and effectively manage multiple and competing priorities and timelines.Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit and working with BIM Models is an asset
Proven interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
