JOB TITLE: Business Analyst IIIDURATION: 1 year with a potential for extension to 2 yearLOCATION: Chatham, Toronto or London ON.HYBRID MODEL: In-Office (Mon/Tues/Thurs) Remote (Wed/Friday)Driver's Abstract require due to some required driving. We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join the Utility Integration Business Readiness and Project Support team. This person will focus on planning and executing integration activities for business systems and processes.
It involves migrating new utilities from their current systems, working closely with the utilities and other program workstream teams to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and collaborate with the technical team to develop functional designs that meet business requirements. This also involves assisting in test planning, documenting test scripts, the execution of testing, supporting user training and implementation and will help ensure the businesses voice is well represented during all phases of the integration project, business impacts are well understood, and subject matter expert's (SME) voices are represented during decision making.
- Work closely with the utilities and business applications teams to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Collaborate with the technical team to develop functional designs that meet business requirements.

- Partner with functional and technical teams to develop test plans, write detailed test cases and execute test scripts for both System and User Acceptance Testing, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Act as a liaison between business partners, functional and technical teams, stepping in where needed to clarify, communicate, and provide support.
- Support the creation of training materials that reflect any new functionalities of systems delivered.
- Assist with the co-ordination of business readiness planning and Impact analysis.
- Provide ongoing support during the cut-over, go-live and hypercare phases to address any issues and ensure a smooth transition.
- Related university degree and three?
plus years' experience in business or systems analysis OR seven? plus years of previous field/operations experience. Equivalent mix of formal education and experience may be considered.
- Demonstrated ability to be innovative, initiate, lead, and manage change.

- Proven interpersonal, communication, negotiation, influence, and leadership skills.
- Demonstrated keen awareness of and aptitude for developing interpersonal relationships and building stakeholder engagement.

- CBAP Certification or other formally recognized education in the field of business analysis can be considered as an asset.
- Working knowledge of client or Dominion systems, specifically around systems supporting Operations and Engineering.
- Office/remote work environment
- Stress levels can be above normal as the work is highly visible and critical to program success.
- Some travel (15-20%), mostly isolated to certain phases of the project, i.e. testing and training* Hybrid Model: Mon/Tues/Thurs in the office and Wed/Friday working remotely
