Job Summary
Job Description What will you do:
- Research and monitor developments in sustainability reporting standards and regulations (e.g., ISSB, CSSB, CSRD) to ensure compliance with evolving guidelines
- Help configure reporting tool to best suit reporting needs
- Help perform gap analysis of compliance with ESG disclosure requirements
- Help conduct peer analysis and research to assess RBC's disclosure strategy against best practices and follow through with recommendations and implementation of improvements
- Partner with internal stakeholders to contribute to initiatives and reports across the organization
- Assist in organizing and maintaining documentation of reporting processes and controls
What do you need to succeed?

Working towards a Bachelor or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or other related field

Strong personal skills and ability to work effectively independently and within a team environment

Professional written and verbal communication skills

Good analytical, communication and problem solving skills

Highly organized with good attention to detail and very high level of accuracy

Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines

Knowledge and understanding of sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., TCFD, ISSB, OSFI B-15, CSRD, etc.)

Proficient in Microsoft Products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Previous experience working with a Financial Institution
