Job Summary
We are seeking a Project Director to join our growing Water Sector team in Toronto, ON. Responsibilities \& Qualifications
Responsibilities

Identify new business opportunities, build and maintain key customer relationships, and assist with increasing current market position. Lead business development, pre-positioning, and proposal pursuits. Responsible for in-depth review of technical and fee proposals. As required be directly involved in the preparation of proposals (written and financial).

Work with Sector Manager to develop, monitor and maintain yearly business plan.

Motivate and develop staff, provide technical direction and guidance, recognizing the role as that of division leader and support resource / mentor.

Act as project manager on select projects, leading project teams for successful project delivery.

Work with team and technical leads to identify appropriate resource needs to meet workload demands, including the need to hire new team members.

Work with the Talent Attraction team to identify, assess, and interview candidates, and support the onboarding process for new staff.

Work with the team to develop and maintain quality assurance policies and processes, and ensure that independent quality reviews/checks are completed on all projects and deliverables.
Qualifications

Professional Engineer in Ontario (P.Eng.)

20 years of experience in the areas of Water and Wastewater.

Demonstrated success in leading and motivating technical teams with a professional and results-driven approach.

Project Management Professional (PMP's) certification is an asset.

Project management experience in managing diverse, simultaneous projects of varying complexities.

Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients' toughest challenges.

Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team, working together toward technical excellence.
Additional Information
TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $170,000-$190,000 annually for this position and local market. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of skills, experience, education and competencies to the table that will be reflected in our offer.
