Site Description
Replacing the 35-year-old facility near Yonge and College, the new FSCC is a state-of-the-art complex supporting forensic and coroner services, serving as the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service headquarters, among others.
Duties \& Responsibilities
- Operate the Security Command Centre 24/7
- Monitor CCTV, Security Alarms, Fire Alarm Systems, Temperature Monitoring Systems, and Security Email Inbox
- Respond to Shipping, Receiving, Parking Entrances, and Security Tasks
- Maintain detailed logs and conduct daily audits of security systems
Additional Guard Roles
- Main Desk Guard: Access control, visitor registration, emergency response
- Patrol Guard: Foot patrols, escorts, inspections, emergency response
- Shipping \& Receiving Guard: Vehicle screening, access control
- Parking Guard: Vehicle screening during peak hours
Requirements \& Qualifications
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- WSIB-approved First Aid and CPR Level C Certification
- Minimum 1 year security experience
- Proficiency in English
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB) certifications, or willingness to train
