We have partnered with a fast-growing company in the manufacturing sector, that is looking to add a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to its Manufacturing and Supply Chain department.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for leading and providing direction to the Manufacturing Engineering Team, as well as:
- Oversee the manufacturing engineering process and related tasks
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma methodologies
- Participate in Design for Manufacturing through the Product Development Process (PDP)
- Manage manufacturing capacity expansion and footprint projects
- Oversee new program capital expenditures
- Develop and implement the advanced manufacturing engineering roadmap
What we are looking for:
We are looking for someone with a Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, as well as:
- Minimum of 10 years of engineering and manufacturing experience in a heavy fabrication and large-scale customized assembly environment
- Experience working in an Integrated Product Development Team environment
- Strong knowledge of problem-solving methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, etc.)
