Financial Reporting Intern
MTY Food Group is looking for a Financial Reporting Intern who will report to the Manager, Financial Reporting. The Financial Reporting Intern will be dedicated to the accurate and timely preparation of the Company's quarterly external financial statements including the MD\&A and various other annual external reporting requirements.

Specific Duties / Responsibilities:
- Assist in preparing the Company's external financial statements, notes, MD\&A and AIF into the Workiva financial reporting platform, including review of French documentation;
- Assist in preparing the appropriate supporting schedules to substantiate all figures disclosed in external filings including disclosure checklists;
- Participate in the evolution and improvement of reporting tools to more effectively compile external financial statements and other disclosure documents;
- Actively participate in establishing short-term and long-term departmental goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures specifically those relating to the Finance functions target operating model;
- Work on one-off analysis as required and one-off special projects, including the ongoing implementation of SAP's S4Hana ERP;
- Contribute to team effort by completing financial reporting tasks as needed.
Profile:
- Bachelors' degree in progress.
- Work Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Bilingual-French and English
- Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Team spirit, while also being autonomous.
- Adaptable, resilient, flexible, fast-paced/sense of urgency, and a high level of multitasking ability.
- Demonstrated process improvement/simplification expertise, technically sound.
- Cross-functional collaboration and ability to achieve business results with Senior Leadership partners and colleagues.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to write concisely and cohesively.

Working environment and hours:
- Working a standard work week (40-hour work week)
- Work a minimum of two days per week in the office
