We are looking for a highly skilled Production Support Senior Analyst with strong expertise in Azure and Infrastructure management. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 6 years of experience in handling production environments, particularly in cloud technologies such as Azure. Experience with Red Hat and OpenShift will be an added advantage. This role is mostly remote, but candidates are expected to be in the office once every two weeks for team collaboration and critical meetings. The role includes 24/7 on-call support as part of a rotational shift, with occasional Tier 1 application changes required after business hours. Experience working with banking or financial clients will be a distinct advantage.
++Key Responsibilities:++
- Manage and optimise Azure-based infrastructure and production environments.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support on a rotational basis, responding to production issues promptly.
- Perform routine and emergency production support activities.
- Assist with the deployment, monitoring, and configuration of RedHat and OpenShift environments (if applicable).
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on business operations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to maintain system availability, security, and performance.
- Occasionally perform Tier 1 application changes after business hours as required.
- Ensure smooth and efficient operation of infrastructure services, addressing any incidents or requests in a timely manner.
- In-office presence required once every two weeks for meetings, collaboration, and urgent matters.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5 to 8 years of experience in production support and infrastructure management, particularly with Azure.
- Experience with Red Hat and OpenShift is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for querying purposes (no advanced programming required).
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and incident resolution skills.
- Strong communication skills for working in a hybrid team environment.
- Ability to handle 24/7 on-call support as part of a rotational shift schedule.
- Experience with banking or financial clients is a strong advantage.
- Willingness to work outside business hours when performing Tier 1 application changes.
