Imports transactions and new constituents from various sources, including, but not limited to outward facing systems such as Fundraise Up, MailChimp, Shelter Buddy, New/Mode, CampSite, Givergy, Shopify, GoGo Photo etc. and inward facing systems such as Better Impact and Dayforce, to Raisers Edge.

Develops data parameters for projects in consultation with campaign leads and exports and otherwise prepares data for use including, but not limited to, Direct Mail and Calling Campaigns, AnimalSense and Bark! magazines, events, community giving and department list requests.

Contributes to overall data hygiene and validation activities.

Helps with annual consolidated receipting audit and production of data files as needed.

Develops streamlined processes to improve efficiency and integrity of data and the movement thereof.

Assists in development and maintenance of tools that manage data imports/exports.
-
Assists with updating and maintaining import profiles, procedure manuals, and other database-related needs to ensure data integrity.

Documents guidelines and procedures to accurately reflect duties associated with processes and activities as directed.

Provides training to Public Engagement and Advancement on processes and systems as required.

Participates in various projects, as assigned. Projects will have specific deliverables but may include:

Developing reporting mechanisms, metrics and conducting other related analysis as needed by campaigns.

Gathering business requirements, developing data architecture and leading data migration needs for implementation of a new application.

Developing integrations for new applications as acquired.

Provides guidance to the Data Assets team in the absence of the Manager, Data Assets \& Generosity Services.

Provides technical support for Raiser's Edge and guides staff in using Blackbaud knowledgebase and support when possible.

Provides supervision, mentoring, skills acquisition, learning opportunities and evaluation for temporary co-op or student positions or for team volunteers.

Develops and maintain relationships with industry peers and commits to continued education, learning and innovation.

Commits to continued education and learning as it relates to donor CRMs and data management best practices.

Participates in team, portfolio, unit, department and organization-wide staff meetings as required.

Contributes to the growth of a culture of health and safety and volunteerism.

Actively seeks opportunities to involve volunteers in work in the portfolio and collaborates with Volunteer Resources on implementation.

University degree plus 3-6 years' experience in data sciences; or an equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable to the employer.

Intermediate understanding of the Raiser's Edge 7 or NXT, including merging records, using and creating queries, export, mail tasks and importing.

Intermediate skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office programs, including advanced understanding of formulas, regular expressions and macro.

Familiarity with Power Automate and Power BI.
