Reporting to the Data Insights and Enablement Director, the Senior BI Specialist will create advanced dashboards, analyze data trends, automate workflows, and collaborate across departments to support business objectives.

Responsibilities
- Capture business requirements, understand stakeholder needs, and align with Interac's business objectives.
- Design, build, and deploy robust BI solutions based on business needs.
- Establish visualization best practices, optimize dashboards, and explore innovative data representations to uncover new opportunities.
- Analyze BI data to provide actionable insights for leadership.
- Create presentations and narratives that clearly communicate data insights.
- Develop comprehensive BI reports and dashboards using internal and external data sources.
- Identify industry, geographic, and competitor trends to anticipate opportunities and challenges.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in all reports.
Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience as a BI Developer, creating complex dashboards and algorithms.
- Expertise in BI tools such as Tableau (preferred), Power BI, Qlik, Domo, or Sisense.
- Strong knowledge of Python/R and SQL.
- Data modeling, UI/UX design skills, and experience in data analysis and visualization.
- Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent organization, planning, and proactive problem-solving skills.
- Experience with BI environment configuration and security is a plus.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
