Cloud Security Engineer
We're seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to enhance the security of our cloud infrastructure, applications, and services. Work closely with DevOps and Cloud teams to implement security solutions that support agility, innovation, and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do:
· Strengthen and maintain the security posture of AWS-based cloud environments (and other cloud platforms as needed).
· Develop, implement, and maintain cloud security policies, IAM frameworks, and best practices.
· Collaborate with DevOps and application teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
· Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and vulnerability management activities.
· Investigate and respond to cloud security incidents, designing proactive detection and response processes.
· Drive continuous improvement by staying current with emerging security trends, threats, and tools.
What You'll Bring:
· 5+ years of experience in cloud security, cybersecurity, cloud engineering, or DevSecOps roles.
· Hands-on experience with AWS security services (IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Hub) and security posture management tools (e.g., Prisma Cloud or similar).
· Knowledge of CI/CD security best practices, securing pipelines and DevOps environments.
· Strong understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and cloud-native security architectures.
· Familiarity with container and Kubernetes security.
· Basic proficiency in scripting or automation (e.g., Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
· Working knowledge of security frameworks such as OWASP, NIST, or CIS benchmarks.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to security challenges.
Nice to Have
● Certifications: AWS Security Specialty , CCSP , or CKS.
