Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with strong expertise in data analysis, business intelligence (BI), and ETL processes. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and can transform complex data into actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
Candidates need to be located within Canada and might speak English.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines (ETL/ELT) using modern tools and frameworks.

Extract, clean, transform, and analyze large datasets from various sources.

Build interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions.

Optimize SQL queries and data models for performance and scalability.

Work within cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) for data storage, processing, and visualization.

Ensure data quality, integrity, security, and compliance.

Contribute to data governance and the continuous improvement of analytical processes.
Required Skills:
-
Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis or a similar role.

Strong proficiency in SQL and either Python or R.

Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform: Azure (Data Factory, Synapse, etc.), AWS (Redshift, Glue, S3), or GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow).

Deep knowledge of ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica, dbt, etc.).

Proficiency with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Looker, etc.).

Ability to interpret complex data and present insights through effective storytelling and visualization.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience with data modeling (relational and dimensional).
Nice to Have:

Experience working in Agile environments.

Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Google Professional Data Engineer, etc.).
