Business Analyst with Regulatory Reporting, GL Recon/DGS, OFSAA

We are seeking a Sr. Business Analyst with 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in GL Recon/DGS, OFSAA, Regulatory Reporting, and Business Analysis \& Planning. This role involves working in a hybrid model with day shifts and no travel requirements. The candidate will analyze business processes and provide strategic insights to drive business growth.

Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for the development team.
Good knowledge of GL Recon/DGS, OSFI Regulatory space, and Regulatory Reporting.
Utilize OFSAA to analyze financial data and provide actionable insights.
Experience with OFSAA modules OFSI, FSDF, CAP, GL Recon, especially on Basel 3 and Large Exposure framework requirements.
Strong data lineage and STTM experience; basic understanding of accounting processes and events (skills to accommodate EBA).
Conduct thorough business analysis to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize business requirements.
Develop and implement business plans to achieve organizational goals.
Apply the CRAFT Work Model to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Create detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
Provide ongoing support and training to team members on business analysis best practices.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with business processes.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in business analysis and financial technologies.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of business analysis methodologies and tools.
