Description
We are currently recruiting for a results-oriented Retail Representative to represent our clients. This role offers you the opportunity to utilize your retail sales experience strategically through direct sales, merchandising, and POS placement. As part of our sales team, you will call on clients in the Grocery, Gas \& Convenience Retail Channel to communicate and execute sales, merchandising strategies, promotions, and guidelines. Your goal will be to drive results by identifying volume opportunities, providing excellent customer service, supplying product information, and ensuring product dominance and distribution.
Your excellent communication and sales skills, enthusiasm, and superior presentation abilities will be key. You should be highly organized, a natural problem solver, and capable of building strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Provide sales merchandising coverage and support retail special projects within an assigned territory
- Execute in-store priorities and objectives to achieve superior results
- Use handheld reporting tools
- Manage new item placement and maintain 100% distribution of existing items
- Ensure adherence to shelving guidelines and plan-o-grams
- Conduct pricing audits
- Build displays and place point-of-sale materials
- Build relationships with store personnel
- Negotiate product placement
- Communicate client information and promote promotions
Qualifications
- Prior retail experience in a territory is preferred
- Strong relationship-building and persuasive communication skills
- Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Computer literate and comfortable with digital tools (handheld devices, cameras, etc.)
- Reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and safe driving record
- Ability to lift at least 30 lbs, stand, bend, and reach daily
- Ability to drive for extended periods
- Capacity to store sample products and racking
- Access to high-speed Internet
