As an expert, you will bring deep technical mastery of processes and equipment. This expertise allows you to lead planning, process development, and implementation of Planned Maintenance Elements in a Continuous Improvement manufacturing environment. You will manage this through teams of technical and non-technical personnel, key support contractors, and operations staff.
How You Will Contribute
- Partner \& Enable line leaders to achieve SQCDSM targets---Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability \& Morale---ensuring process stability; participate in DMS meetings.
- Own technology, process, and centerline settings for equipment; manage PM systems, KPIs, and R\&M budget.
- Develop and execute preventive and time-based maintenance plans; build team capabilities for self-maintenance; lead PM work at line and department levels.
- Collaborate with Asset and Reliability teams for system improvements; responsible for change management, spares localization, breakdown analysis, and R\&M cost reduction; represent department as site technology owner.
- Assist in VSU initiatives, enable the VSU team, and serve as a subject matter expert and trainer in PM subjects.

- Advanced knowledge of AM and Progressive Maintenance systems, with skills to maintain equipment independently.
- Leadership capability to qualify and coach SWP owners, and drive opportunities using PDCA approach.
- Experience as a Line Leader, developing goals, managing IDP, and coaching team members.

You'll work hands-on with processing and packaging lines, pumps, conveyors, and motors as part of a unionized team emphasizing safety and teamwork.
What You'll Do
- Perform mechanical troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance.
- Respond quickly and safely to breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- Inspect, maintain, and rebuild mechanical components.
- Support equipment upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with other teams to solve problems and improve processes.
- Follow safety, GMP, HACCP, and environmental procedures.
- Maintain accurate records in CMMS.
- Contribute to a respectful, team-first culture.
What You Bring
- Certified Millwright (433A) or equivalent license.
- 3 years in an industrial/manufacturing setting, food industry experience is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills; welding/fabrication is an asset.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
- Good communication and team skills.
- Experience with CMMS and preventive maintenance.
