About the role
As a Senior Investment \& Personal Banking Specialist Trainee, you will be customer-centric and able to connect with clients in a relatable way. You will be a key member of the Canadian Banking Branch network, focusing on providing exceptional service throughout the customer's journey.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering trusted financial advice and promoting financial sales.
- Providing a full range of customized financial solutions using a financial planning approach.
- Understanding customers' financial goals, analyzing needs, and recommending appropriate strategies.
- Focusing on complex solutions and comprehensive financial planning.
- Being results-driven and collaborative in dealings with peers, customers, and partners.
- Building relationships to enhance client experience and grow long-term relationships.
Qualifications and skills:
- Minimum two years of experience selling investment and credit products.
- Demonstrated sales management skills and ability to market Scotiabank.
- Ability to build strong client relationships and provide excellent service.
- Licensed to sell mutual funds and working towards the CIFP Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent.
