Experienced Civil3D Design Technician, Water \& Wastewater
Join our Water and Wastewater team in Vancouver as an Intermediate to Senior Civil Design CAD Technician supporting the design and delivery of water, wastewater, and conveyance projects. Responsibilities include applying Civil 3D knowledge from conceptual design to project completion, interfacing with internal and external contacts, and coordinating with multiple design disciplines for interference checking and quality control.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed pipe network plans and profiles.
- Prepare comprehensive drawings for lift stations, pump stations, and mechanical equipment, adhering to BIM/CAD standards.
- Conduct site assessments and surveys for project planning and design.
- Collaborate with project teams to meet specifications.
- Perform quality control checks for accuracy and compliance.
- Utilize Recap and InfraWorks for visualization and planning.
- Apply Revit modeling for project delivery.
- Stay updated on industry trends and software advancements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related field.
- 6 years in AutoCAD drafting and design.
- Extensive experience with Civil 3D in water and wastewater projects.
- Strong skills in technical drawings and plans.
- Understanding of hydraulic and structural principles.
- Experience with site assessments and project planning.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with a flexible attitude.
Salary range in British Columbia: $71,500 - $98,300, subject to various factors.
