Logistics Specialist - 12 Month Contract
Job Details
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for target customer segments.
- Resolve complex problems related to shipments and other issues.
- Address customer complaints and drive systemic improvements.
- Stay informed about changes affecting targeted customers.
- Serve as an internal expert on customer segments to guide colleagues and sales teams.
- Develop trusting relationships with target customer segments.
- Support customers on-site as needed.
- Assist Business Development Managers during meetings with current and prospective clients.
- Support the Operations Manager with complex assignments, including authoring CAPAs, conducting monthly checks, and responding to incidents and customer comments.
- Provide leadership support in the absence of the Customer Service/Operations Lead.
- Be eligible for inclusion in specialized teams (EPL, TCS, DTP, CGT, CT, etc.).
- Assist in training new employees.
- Mentor and support new and developing colleagues.
- Ensure follow-up on live jobs, regardless of ownership.
- Help develop new training materials and serve as a subject matter expert.
Experience and Educational Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in customer care and a High School diploma.
- Potential for travel to various destinations worldwide.
- Effective communication skills in English and/or French, both written and verbal.
- Creative problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to work multiple shifts.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.
- Daily contact with unilingual English-speaking customers, patients, or peers from cross-functional teams may be required.
