Your Contribution
As the Director of Operations for Geotechnical and Materials Engineering in Southwest Ontario, your main responsibilities will include:
- Promoting health and safety policies
- Managing operations to meet corporate goals
- Ensuring quality, customer satisfaction, and project profitability
- Leading and mentoring teams and project managers
- Participating in succession planning and employee development
- Developing budgets and overseeing financial activities
- Representing the company in client meetings and project management
- Managing project portfolios and ensuring project compliance and quality standards
- Fostering client relationships and supporting business development efforts
Your Profile
- University Degree in Civil Engineering; post-graduate degree an asset
- At least 15 years in technical, project management, and business development roles
- Experience in engineering consulting and Geotechnical, Pavements, and Materials fields
- Member of Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO)
- Leadership skills, autonomy, and ability to foster positive relations
- Excellent English communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel across Ontario
- Security clearance eligibility
- Commitment to occupational health and safety
