Supervise all aspects of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and routing activities to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Monitor and coordinate daily work flow to optimize productivity and eliminate bottlenecks.

Validate inventory accuracy and ensure the proper handling, put-away, and replenishment of all materials.

Oversee and support the processing of Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) in coordination with customer service.

Lead, coach, and mentor warehouse staff to achieve individual and team performance targets.

Conduct regular team huddles, training sessions, and 1-on-1 performance discussions.

Provide ongoing feedback and input into performance reviews and coaching conversations.

Collaborate closely with the Distribution Centre Coordinator to assist with daily routing and scheduling of the fleet (7 trucks).

Support staff allocation, ensuring the right resources are aligned to meet shipping deadlines and workload demands.

Collaborate with the Distribution Centre Manager to analyze operational metrics and identify improvement opportunities.

Implement best practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain high operational standards.

Enforce compliance with health and safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Proactively identify and address safety risks, reporting incidents and near-misses in a timely manner.

Conduct routine safety inspections and promote a strong safety culture among the team.

Act as a key point of contact for cross-functional teams including transportation, customer service, and procurement.

2+ years of experience in warehouse or distribution operations, with supervisory or team leadership responsibilities.

Proven experience in both inbound and outbound logistics environments.

Experience supporting fleet scheduling, routing, or dispatching is a strong asset.

Strong understanding of warehouse systems, inventory control processes, and performance metrics.

Familiarity with RF scanners, pallet jacks, sit-down counterbalance forklifts, reach trucks, or order pickers is an asset.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to lead through influence, resolve conflict constructively, and support a positive team culture.

Ability to prioritize, problem-solve, and lead in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.

Forklift certification and ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full time hours as required by this position
