Full Job Description
We are currently seeking a Sales Representative to join our team of skilled professionals in Ontario. This position requires that you plan and manage territory activities to achieve sales and market share growth utilizing approved sales and marketing strategies and tools while providing excellent customer service to all customers in the territory. The Sales Representative reports to the Regional Sales Manager and is responsible for sales and administration of their territory.

Accountabilities:
- Organize and execute a business plan to meet territory sales goals and customer needs
- Develop new customers and grow existing customers
- Utilize approved sales/marketing tools within budget
- Communicate market and competition trends, and requests for pricing or payment exceptions effectively and timely
- Increase IKO market share in the territory
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop relationships and grow sales with assigned distribution customers in the territory
- Frequently contact roofing contractors, remodelers, builders, and architects to drive demand for IKO products
- Present products and programs to qualified distributors and end users weekly
- Conduct Product Knowledge (PK) training sessions with customers
- Follow up on customer inquiries or IKO administration requests promptly
- Submit weekly Intelligence Reports in a timely manner
- Attend meetings, functions, and company-provided training as required
- Investigate and process product quality complaints in the territory
- Adhere to all IKO policies and procedures, including Health and Safety and Vehicle policies
- Perform any other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
- Proven ability to perform "pull through" sales techniques, primarily calling on end users
- Track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Prior sales experience in the building products industry is preferred
- Experience contacting roofing contractors, builders, and/or architects is preferred
- Professional sales training is preferred
- 2 or 4-year college degree in Sales or Marketing related field is preferred
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record
