Responsibilities
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor oversees warehouse staff activities and product movement, ensuring process efficiency, safety, and excellent customer service. Key duties include:
Shipping:
- Set delivery routes based on reports.
- Coordinate trucking and special deliveries.
Warehouse Duties:
- Pick and stage orders for delivery or pickup.
- Assist with loading trucks and verifying order accuracy.
Receiving:
- Plan labor, space, and storage for incoming goods.
- Ensure accuracy and quality of deliveries.
Customer Service:
- Greet and assist customers entering the warehouse.
Supervision:
- Train and monitor warehouse staff.
- Schedule and assign tasks.
Inventory Control:
- Manage replenishment and review reports.
Safety:
- Conduct safety audits and inspections.
- Assist with accident investigations and equipment safety.
All employees must adhere to PPE requirements, safety procedures, and hazard reporting protocols.
Qualifications
Education/Experience/Skills:
- Post-secondary education.
- Leadership experience in a warehouse setting.
- Proficiency in AS400, Microsoft Office, inventory software.
- Forklift certification and equipment operation skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations.
