What you'll be doing
As the Director, EAML Governance \& Implementation Oversight, you will lead a team to design and oversee the appropriate structures throughout EAML globally for internal Governance committees \& forums, as well as building standard approaches to regulatory change implementation. You will create and enhance tools for Governance to ensure timely and accurate reporting to the CAMLO and senior leadership, as required. You are expected to manage the governance of EAML's intake and assessment of business led initiatives within AML risks and impacts and oversee the effective implementation through clearly articulated roles and responsibilities, standardization of tools/tracking and effective reporting of status and risks. You'll support the EAML Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in maintaining effective Governance controls in EAML and take a continuous improvement approach to designing and implementing efficient and consistent approaches to BAU initiatives and governance activities throughout EAML.

How you'll succeed

Portfolio management -- Own and manage your portfolio from end to end, and implement effective, risk-based approaches to Governance \& implementation of change.

Strategic \& process oriented mindset -- Develop and manage an integrated, strategic and effective Governance structure; establishing consistent minimum standards and oversight processes; ensuring clarity of accountabilities of all committees/forums and decision processes within EAML globally.

Efficiency \& effectiveness -- Enhance efficiency, effectiveness and oversight of Governance activities, including reporting to the CAMLO and SLT on current state, risks and areas for improvement.

Continuous improvement -- Proactively identify where Governance practices can be enhanced, either through streamlining or improvement. Create tools and practices for Governance that can be leveraged across EAML- bringing best practices to life and providing thought leadership. Proactively identify and implement improvements such as training, communication or other activities that enhance the AML/ATF \& Sanctions program globally.

Operations management -- Own the EAML Intake Process for business led initiatives including the Execution and Delivery gate / phase. Effectively oversee the assessment and implementation of business led initiatives, including providing structure and opportunity for risks to be identified early and addressed. Take a global approach, liaising and leading consistency of approaches across regions. Develop and lead the implementation of Governance Standards for EAML globally.

Partnership \& collaboration -- Primary EAML liaison within EAML for business led initiatives and for Governance practices. Partner within EAML, and with Business and Technology stakeholders in order to establish and maintain ongoing roles and responsibilities and engagement / communication channels. Act as a key liaison with Business Initiative owners in order to communicate EAML intake process and obtain and act on feedback as appropriate. Keen to build strong business partnerships across EAML, Technology and with the Business Units.

Change management -- Develop change management tools and resources that can be leveraged across EAML, working collaboratively with teams to understand their challenges and identify solutions.

People leadership -- Be an inspiring and effective leader, working closely with a variety of team members with varying areas of focus and goals. Provide leadership to Sr Consultant and Consultants. Envision the future, inspire hearts and minds and drive results together.

Data oversight \& reporting optimization -- Develop reporting to actively manage the Governance and Implementation activities and provide line of sight to senior management.

Risk \& compliance -- Identify areas of risk and escalate early and appropriately to avoid negative impacts. Perform effective challenge on Governance practices of the EAML team and Change Management action plans, bringing a level of consistency and tracking that roles/responsibilities are properly completed.

Process oriented -- Develop and lead the implementation of appropriate procedures for Governance and Change Management in EAML globally.

You can demonstrate experience in Governance, process development and reporting. You have good skills with MS Office and have basic AML knowledge. It's an asset if you have experience with Tableau, Power BI.
