Compensation: $35-$40 per hour

We are dedicated to delivering high-quality turbine component rework and precision machining services to the aerospace sector. As we continue to grow, we are seeking experienced and skilled Machinists to join our team.
Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Machinist with hands-on experience operating manual mill and lathe machines. The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in precision machining, a strong understanding of aerospace components, and a commitment to quality and safety standards. Aviation industry experience is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities :

Operate manual milling machines and engine lathes to perform precision machining operations.

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.

Measure and inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).

Set up and adjust machines and tools according to job specifications.

Perform basic machine maintenance and ensure equipment is in safe working condition.

Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and follow company quality standards.

Work collaboratively with the Quality Assurance team and Engineering to meet or exceed customer specifications.

Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with health and safety requirements.
Required Skills, Knowledge \& Qualifications:

Journeyman Machinist with completion of a recognized Machinist Apprenticeship or equivalent training.

Minimum 5 years of experience operating manual mills and lathes.

Experience in an aerospace or aviation MRO environment preferred.

Strong understanding of tolerances, fits, and finishes.

Ability to work independently and interpret complex technical documents.

Attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Working Conditions:

Full-time position based in Richmond, BC.

Standard shop environment with exposure to machining noise and tools.

Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) required.
