Position: Operations Supervisor (Maintenance \& Security)
Location: On-site -- Montreal, QC
Responsibilities
- Support the Manager, Operations in managing the Galeries d'Anjou, Place d'Anjou, and Centre Jean-Talon buildings, focusing on security and maintenance.
- Manage service contracts, oversee teams, and maintain relationships with retailers and tenants to ensure high-quality service.
- Participate in negotiating and implementing maintenance, safety, and fire prevention contracts.
- Assist with follow-ups and corrective actions based on inspections and insurer recommendations.
- Manage environmental programs, Health and Safety committees, and insurance claims.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during work activities.
- Supervise security service quality and follow up on incident reports.
- Participate in contract negotiations and oversee their execution.
- Supervise inspections and follow up on fire alarm, sprinkler, and PIV systems.
- Contribute to operational budget development and monitor expenditures.
- Coordinate development projects and maintenance work at tenants' premises, acting as liaison with contractors and tenants.
- Support superiors during special projects and respond to emergency calls outside working hours.
- Prepare annual operating and capital budgets and develop five-year investment plans.
- Make decisions during emergencies to ensure safety and respond to tenant complaints, ensuring service quality.
Qualifications
- College diploma in property management or equivalent experience (3-5 years).
- Experience in contract and personnel management.
- Experience in building maintenance and security.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and architectural plans.
- Leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Availability to respond to urgent requests outside of regular hours, including weekends.
- Bilingual in French and English.
